Puli Khumri (or Pul-i-Kumri, Pol-e Khumri) (Persian: پل خمری) is a city in northern Afghanistan. It is the capital of Baghlan Province and has a population of 60,000 (2002 official estimate). The capital of Baghlan Province was the mostly pashtu live Baghlan before 2007. The spoken language is mainly Dari and the residents are mostly Tajiks with existence of other ethnicities.
